Trend Report | Sky Prints Require Glasses. Calvin Klein’s Spring 2014 Collection…

Calvin Klein Optical Range

New Optical Range.. by Calvin Klein 2014…

You could never accuse the fashion world of living in the past, as all of the big labels have already released their Spring 2014 collections. A mainstay as always in the cavalcade of fashion labels releasing their collections is Calvin Klein. Their design team are of the idea that if you don’t know it’s spring, at least the clothes will tell you.

Being displayed by a majority of tall, blonde and blue eyed group of men, comes the Calvin Klein’s Men’s Spring 2014 collection, which seems entirely moulded around the colour of the sky on a comfortable spring day.

Some of the trends coming into this collection seem to mirror the prints that have been extremely popular in women’s clothing over the last year or so. Especially on leggings, where prints have been quite popular, comes a similar idea for the Calvin Klein Spring 2014 collection where prints of a spring sky in the morning or of a sunset in the afternoon appear on the shirts and jumpers of the famous fashion chain.

Onto the accessories. There’s not a whole lot to talk about really. The accessory that features the most prominently, outside shoes of course, would definitely be the Sunglasses. Playing a key in any spring collection, the CK sunglasses are quaint and stylish without overpowering the rest of the look. The glasses that were featured more prominently on the catwalk seemed to have an odd shine about them, but I don’t think many people would be wearing those glasses in front of all of those lights too often, therefore the gleam they give won’t be so prominent.

Here is the filming of the runway below. Enjoy! http://explore.calvinklein.com/en_US/explore/ckcollection/men/runway/spring-2014-mens-runway-video-T513-TLNK513
