Fresh Spring Accessories.. by Christian Louboutin 2014…

Fashion Labels are like friends. You can like them a lot, you can even love them, but sometimes there is going to be that one thing about them that annoys you. But that’s why we have many friends, to compliment evert aspect of our personality. So, like fashion, it’s okay to pick and choose, use a Louis Vuitton bag, a Gucci jacket, and a The-Bling-Society necklace.

Featured above is the Spring 2014 collection by Christian Louboutin, and the truth is, like friends, there’s a lot of aspects that I like, and a couple that I don’t quite see eye-to-eye with. But when I say, I don’t quite see eye-to-eye with it, I’m only nit-picking, because large amounts of this collection is quite trendy. I love the lace up shoes in the bottom right, and the bags in the bottom left are also quite stylish.

The red and tan lace up platform shoe is a bit off if you ask me. I’m very supportive of the idea, and I see what they are trying to do, but it comes across a little too brash burlesque and not enough refined cocktail dress. Louboutin also has an all leather version of the red and tan platform shoe, and I think it’s a slightly more elegant design. It retails for approximately $1400.
