New York Fashion Week. Starts 6th of February…
The northern hemisphere is beginning to see signs that would signal the end of a long and cold winter. The emergence of spring brings the ‘big four’ fashion weeks of New York, London, Paris and Milan to the forefront of the fashion world.
Two seasons ago when these fashion weeks were helping some of the most exciting labels in the fashion world debut their new collections, we saw a mixed bag of designs. It was a refreshing month of fashion festivities where variety was the winner, proving last season had no real regimented rule for defining a ‘fashionable’ outfit.
The first of the four fashion weeks, The Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, commences on February 6th. After that, we cross over to London on the 14th of February, which is overlapped by the Milan Fashion Week beginning on the 18th of February, followed by the Paris Fashion Week starting on February 25th.
No one can be too sure of what we will see from the world’s leading designers, but I can’t wait to find out. We will be reporting directly from the catwalk, so make sure you are on the look out for our up and coming fashion week articles as it happens.
In the meantime, what are your predictions for the new fashion trends for this year?
