Look out Caped Crusader! There are some new caped fashion heroes on the block. Like seriously Batman, all black? At least Burberry know how to dress for the occasion.

These capes debuted last season at the Autumn / Winter 2014 catwalk, but now that it is Autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, we are now ready to see these items take the world by storm. Sarah Jessica Parker has already been spotted out in hers, and there is bound to be more to come.

They come in at around $850 AUD and more if you want to get your own initials imprinted onto them.

Will this piece take over from their iconic trench? In our view it could just happen.
